2011 Suzuki Swift -Latest News and Features

Suzuki has announces the features and specs of its 2011 Suzuki Swift.At launch, Suzuki will offer the European version of the Swift with a choice of two engines, a new 1.2-liter petrol that makes 94HP and 118Nm / 87 lb-ft of peak torque, and a revised 1.3-liter turbo diesel with 75HP and 190Nm / 140 lb-ft.Both engines are offered with a five-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol unit is also available with an optional four-speed automatic transmission.

According to the Japanese company, with the 1.2L petrol unit and a manual gearbox, the Swift accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 12.3 seconds [Auto: 13.5 sec] and achieves a top speed of 165 km/h (103 mph). It returns a combined fuel consumption of 5.0 lt/100km, equal to 56.5mpg UK and 47.0mpg US [Auto: 5.5 lt/100km].The diesel powered model completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in 12.7 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 165 km/h (103 mph), while returning 4.2 lt/100km, equal to 67.3mpg UK and 56.0mpg US.

Hyundai Santa Fe is on Indian roads this year-Features and Specifications

Korean automaker Hyundai has now announces the launch of its most popular brand Hyundai Santa Fe (Sports utilty veichle)SUV in the indian market.This was the first model from the Hyundai in the SUV segment.Hyundai is now trying to make its most spectacluar model to make a market in the Indian Auto market. Hyundaai last release model Tusan in India ,failed to make an impact in Indian market.Speaking on the proposed launch of Hyundai Santa Fe by December 2010, H W Park, managing director, HMIL said “We will launch the Santa Fe in India this year. Hyundai Santa Fe will be a completely-built unit (CBU). We will consider manufacturing it as completely knocked down (CKD) unit; may be after two to three years. But, that will be done after proper feasibility studies.”Hyundai is also planning to introduce an 800cc car in the Indian market by 2011. It is planning the launch of a face-lifted Hyundai i20 model in the domestic market.The foray of Hyundai Santa Fe will be in built unit, while the company will focus on manufacturing, completely built units in the next two years time.

Weems & Plath, maker of nautical and weather instruments, launches its Nautilus Collection waterproof, rugged anodized aluminum instruments. The Nautilus Collection includes Waterproof Quartz Clock; High Sensitivity Barometer; Waterproof Quartz Clock with Inclinometer; and the High Sensitivity Barometer with Inclinometer.

All these products are rugged and waterproof that functions well in the punishing saltwater environment. All products have low glare, satin black case constructed of solid aluminum that is color anodized and sealed so that the finish will not peel, bubble or tarnish.

The Nautilus Waterproof Quartz Clock that offers precision quartz movement,accurate to +/- 15 seconds a month. It is waterproof to a depth of 100 feet. The High Sensitivity Barometer, on ther other hand, features hydrophobic filter allows air to pass yet resists water and is waterproof to a depth of 3 feet for 30 minutes. The other two products are based on the Waterproof Quartz Clock and High Sensitivity Barometer and add the fluid dampened inclinometer.

MotoCzysz E1pc -The Worlds Fastest Electric Motorcycle

The MotoCzysz E1pc is the worlds fastest electric motorcycle, and it is capable of speed up to 140 mph which ins pretty impressive considering it its solely powered by batteries.

The MotoCzysz E1pc has more batteries than a Toyota Prius, around ten times more, as you can see in the photo below the majority of the body of the bike is made up of batteries.

The MotoCzysz E1pc is being tested out in the Isle of Man TT 2010, you can see some of its test runs in the video below.

Samsung is adding a couple of new features to its range of connected TVs, you will now be able to check out what is happening on Facebook and browse through Google Maps.

We are not sure why they have added Google Maps to their range of connected TVs, Facebook we can understand as people may want to check out what is happening on their favourite social network site.

You would have thought that they would have added Twitter instead of Google Maps, they you would be able to check up on the latest tweets whilst watching your favourite TV show.

Twitter Supports Open Source

Developers seem increasingly cherished by online media. This is good news because getting the program to experiment would have led to the birth of open source products, new future.

Supporting the development of open source, now the Twitter helped contribute its own which recently rumored to have just launched an online directory that can accommodate open source project from the developer. Good open-source project that is being done or has been completed and the wish shared by the developer.

From the list provided this directory appears to be quite impressive. There are many open source projects with a programming language Ruby, Scala, Java, C / C + + and various free tools provided here. Some of them are Cassandra, a network storage based P2P Facebook which has existed since 2008 earlier. There is also a Murder, which is an open source project that using Bittorent. At the bottom of the open-source projects have a short description and there are icons that can link your Twitter with the Twitter service.

Viewed from the home directory, write that the Twitter love open source products. For one thing, Twitter itself is built using open source applications. So it can be said of this project itself is a contribution from Twitter to open source developers.

Fring Launches Video Conference

It has been a long time that Apple had a desire to integrate video conferencing features on the iPhone, which of course it is the idea that the advent of Skype, which is already without first offering a free service made the call on the internet.

But Apple’s own party was burgled start, where it Fring.com Israeli origin who was first to realize this concept into reality.

Of course to realize that dream had to modify the iPhone mobile phone iPhone 3GS which is behind the camera position, so it will be difficult for users who want to do video conferencing. Unlike mobile phones Nokia N-series output which exactly is appropriate to use this feature.

Currently Fring own party has been able to integrate video conferencing on mobile phones Nokia Symbian S60. While for the iPhone itself, still a little difficulty because of the terms of the hardware alone does not allow two-way video calls.

Fring application itself is designed to make video calls between users Fring and Skype. However, reportedly while trying to make a video call, there is a slight problem clashed with Wi-Fi network, Fring party quickly response so this issue is no longer a constraint.
